I found my absolute dream dress today!I had a mix of anticipation, excitement and nerves ahead of appointment. After being inside all of about 2 seconds, I already felt at ease.Not only is the place itself absolutely beautiful, but it also feels like a really welcoming and calm environment.The staff were incredible throughout my entire appointment. They really listened to me, and helped me get to the bottom of what I wanted.I never once felt self conscious getting in and out of the dresses either! Such a wonderful team and such a incredible experience. I felt like a million pounds the entire time. We were totally looked after and nothing was too much trouble. Emily was so helpful and welcoming, the first dress she picked out for me took my breath away, I said 'yes to the dress' the moment I saw it but she insisted I tried on others just incase I found a better one (I never felt pressured), but the first one was mine. I left very very happy, smiling ear to ear when I left the shop. The small touches they did for me were so thoughtful. I would recommend them to any bride !!read more

I went to the Big South West Wedding Fair yesterday. Met Anna at her stall whilst I was browsing at dresses. Didn't plan on buying a dress yet, but fell in love with the one Anna picked off the rack for me. She was very professional, friendly and no pressure to buy what so ever. Cannot thank Anna, Devvon and the team at SoGorgeous enough. I was not the easiest customer as I had something very specific in mind and although they didn’t have the exact thing in store they were very patient with me whilst I tried on almost every dress in the shop! Eventually we found one that was near perfect and with a bit of encouragement from Anna to get over some of my hang ups and a couple of alterations it turned out to be perfect on the day! The dress looked great in photos and I had nothing but complements. It was cheaper than it would have been in most dress shops and without the experience of having a short time slot and being rushed to try and find something. Also no silly paying for appointments to try on dresses and much more of a personal service than you get in some of the chain shops. Would definitely recommend to any bride to be 😊read more

Brilliant serviceMy complete wedding outfit and those of my 3 best men were provided by Andy at So Georgeous.Me and my brothers are all different sizes but this was no problem and everyone was kitted out to perfection.Excellent measuring service, all done in very good time, everything provided was an excellent qaulity. We looked great on the day and had loads of compliments. Excellent value and I would highly reccomend this company.read more

I can't even begin to explain how grateful I am to the So Gorgeous team.I had put off wedding dress shopping for AGES because I was scared I wouldn't feel confident, beautiful or happy - but with 5 months to go I needed to jump in to action. I found the SG Facebook page and saw they had a waiting list for when they reopened, excited that I could get a dress then & there but it not just be a super mass produced one, but a lovingly made ex-sample/display designer dress for so much less than it would be worth!!When we arrived we were made to feel SO welcome. Emily (total babe) sat us down and did a consultation to get to know me and more about our day to better select some dresses for me to try on. She chose such a wide selection for me and made sure I didn't pigeon hole anything - better to try on different styles because you may be surprised at what they look like. We whittled it down to two dresses and I struggled to decide between the two. The team were so patient with me and offered me honest, constructive advice and were so kind and complimentary throughout. I felt so beautiful. Emily kindly juggled her day around we could go away and have a coffee for a second and come back for another look, which turned in to a further appointment to make the big decision and then a styling appointment as I found a beautiful veil to accompany my dress.The dress I have got is not one I would have picked up to try on but it is absolutely STUNNING and I feel like the girls got to know me better than I know myself in the time we were there! You can tell that each and every one of them take so much pride in their work and really enjoy their job and it really makes all the difference.I can't wait to wear my dress now and I haven't stopped looking at photos of it. I went in terrified I would find nothing that would suit me. As most women are, very conscious of their bodies. I sat down and chatted about me, what our day would be about and things like that. Was instantly put at ease. I found the most stunning dress that I wouldn't have chosen for myself in a million years. And it was the first one I tried on. Not only that, the price was incredible. There were a few bits that had worn on it that the beautiful woman insisted she fixed before I took the gown away. I came back half an hour later and took the dress away with me on the same day. The venue and setting are stunning. The women in there are incredible. I can not say enough good things about this Bridal Boutique. Rang up on Monday and they were able to offer me a last minute appointment. When we got there we were instantly greeted with a friendly smile and sat down and asked about what I liked/didn't like, they made me feel at ease. They picked out a large variety of dresses for me to try and were so patient listening to my insecurities and going above and beyond to find the perfect match for me. I didn't feel rushed or like i was being a pain and they found me the most perfect dress and veil which I felt so amazing in. What can I say, as father of the bride I found it genuinely heart warming. Emily and the young lady I am ashamed to say I didn't get the name of were perfect and could not have made my daughters wedding dress experience any better.they were very attentive and could read my daughters thoughts on each dress. I recently hired a suit from Andy and couldn't have been happier with the service and suit quality.He was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. I visited So Gorgeous at the weekend and had such a lovely experience buying my wedding dress, I would highly recommend. We were welcomed in and felt so relaxed and comfortable from the start. Anna explained how it would work, asked about my big day and preferences to get a picture of what type of dress I may like, offered me to take a look at the dresses if I wanted and helped pick out a large selection that I could try on. Anna and Nadine helped so much with the dresses, giving helpful professional opinions and suggestions and giving me plenty of ideas and choice until I decided on my dress. They were so helpful and made me feel so relaxed without pushing anything on me. They had a beautiful selection of dresses at very reasonable prices and helped select dresses within my budget to help avoid disappointment. I recently went for my first ever dress appointment and after seeing So Gorgeous at The Wedding Show at the Bath and West Showground, I decided to visit this store first! It was the absolute correct decision to make!I was very nervous before the appointment but as soon as I arrived, Anna and the team made me feel at ease. They didn’t put pressure on me, just simply asked some questions about the wedding and the style of dresses I liked. They spent the whole time taking into account all the comments on each dress and selecting dresses based on my body shape and my thoughts. Anna’s knowledge of the dresses was amazing and the third dress I tried on ended up blowing me away! The team were so kind and complimentary whilst also being honest about the dresses that did and did not work for me. The dress I chose is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING and Anna and the team made me feel a million dollars! They helped me pick out accessories also!My first dress experience was the absolute best and I will always remember it with fond memories. I highly recommend So Gorgeous bridal to everyone! Spent such a special afternoon whilst my daughter tried on lots of dresses. All her requests and ideas all taken into consideration. The absolutely stunning dress was one which the assistant suggested and it was perfect. We would never had looked at it because the colour was champagne. Thank you to all the staff today at So Generous Bridal. From the minute we walked in we were made to feel so special. Emily was interested in my daughter and the plans for the wedding, wanting to get ‘the dress' for her. She guided my daughter through dresses that worked and those that did not, subtly exploring any preconceived ideas we had. The range was huge; tradition, classic, classy, blingy, fitted, full, but all beautiful and with their own individual personalities. When ‘the dress' was put on we all ended up in tears. I wish I could give more than five stars to the lovely staff at So Gorgeous. I arrived at 10:00am with my MIL to be and her mum to try and find a dress for my 2023 wedding. We were greeted by our consultant Emily. I cannot say enough good things about Emily. She was a delight to shop with and chat to from start to finish. She listened to what I wanted/what I didn’t want and pulled some absolutely stunning gowns. I ended up falling in love with a dress on our first visit—one I never would have ended up trying if not for Emily’s gentle guidance. Emily was willing to work with us as I needed the dress in the next few months before a major move abroad. The So Gorgeous team sold us the dress right off the hanger for a discounted rate. Emily and the team let us split the cost up into three manageable payments assuring us there would be zero interest on it. Our two hour appointment turned into a nearly four hour one where we never felt rushed and time simply flew by. And for an extra special personal touch, I was given a genuine “lucky sixpence” for my shoe to complete the bridal rhyme. All in all, I would recommend this shop to anyone and everyone in the Weston/Bristol area looking for a dress for their big day. We attended So Gorgeous Bridal Boutique after seeing them at a wedding fair earlier on this year. As a bride to be who was worried about trying on dresses for the first time and not feeling as amazing and beautiful as everyone talks about, I had been putting off booking an appointment and boy do I regret waiting so long! So gorgeous has a personal shopper experience that was amazing, I felt quite overwhelmed with so many dresses to choose from but they carefully select and they really listen to what you prefer and what you felt, changing each dress to tailoring it towards you.
